KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today paid his last respects to Public Bank Bhd founder Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow, who died aged 92 on Monday (December 12).

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 — Public Bank Bhd founder Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow, who died today at the age of 92, was a giant within the banking fraternity, said former Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) governor Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 — The passing of Public Bank Bhd founder and chairman emeritus, director and adviser Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow, 92, will certainly leave a big void for the Public Bank family, the banking sector and also the country, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In a statement today, Public Bank Bhd said Teh founded the bank in 1965 at the age of 35.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 — Public Bank Bhd recorded a net profit of RM1.59 billion for the third quarter (Q3) ended Sept 30, 2022, up 16.8 per cent from RM1.36 billion a year earlier.
